Ninh Binh is about 93km away from Hanoi capital to the south.

For passengers who take the bus from Noi Bai airport to Ninh Binh, there will be transit car to Hanoi center and then head to Ninh Binh by limousine.

* By Motorbike or private car:

When using a private car or motorbike from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, you will not need to rent any cars to explore Ninh Binh later. Hanoi is very close to Ninh Binh so it only takes about 1 hour to drive by car (on highway) and can take nearly 1h30 to drive by motorbikes.

Route: from the center of Hanoi, go to Giai Phong Street, go through Giap Bat Bus Station for about 3km, turn left 1km to Phap Van - Cau Gie Highway and then Cau Gie - Dong Van - Phu Ly - Ninh Binh.
* By Train:

Traveling by train can bring you the comfort while watching the scenery on the road but it will not be convenient in terms of time compared to other means of transportation. You only take more than 2 hours to travel by train to Ninh Binh station. Every day, there are 6 trips from Hanoi to Ninh Binh and vice versa. Fares depend on the seat class, type of seat or bed.
2. FROM HO CHI MINH CITY
* By Air plane and coach:

You will fly from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) or Tho Xuan Airport (Thanh Hoa). After that, you shall catch a coach / train or rent a car from Noi Bai airport or Tho Xuan airport to Ninh Binh. This is the fastest and most convenient means to travel from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to Ninh Binh.

There are many flights of Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific Airlines or Bamboo Airlines and the prices will change from time to time. If you already have a plan, you should book early to get the best ticket price.
* By Train:

Train is a great transportation for you to see the scenery on the way although it takes longer. The North-South railway route from Saigon to Ninh Binh takes about one day and a half.
3. FROM DANANG
Danang is located between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, so the travel time will be faster than from Ho Chi Minh City.
* By Air plane and coach:

From Da Nang airport, you will fly to Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) or Tho Xuan airport (Thanh Hoa). Then from Noi Bai airport or Tho Xuan airport, you can catch a coach/ train or rent a car to Ninh Binh Hidden Charm hotel which is located in Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist center.
* By Train:
